The Sages of Clinical Services Awards acknowledge and publicly recognize clinical professionals and some of their collaborative colleagues serving in a variety of roles throughout the UnitedHealth Group enterprise.

Three Categories for Sages Awards

Individual Award
Individual winners are selected for their outstanding contributions from a pool of nominees who represent nurses, advanced practice clinicians, physicians, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social workers, behavioral health clinicians and other licensed clinical disciplines working throughout the enterprise in a variety of roles and functions. Learn more

Collaboration Award
This award recognizes a clinician who has partnered with another clinician or two UnitedHealth Group employees (one must be a licensed clinician) and has demonstrated a significant interprofessional collaboration crossing business lines to result in extraordinary outcomes. These two individuals partnered on an effort that went beyond their usual scope of responsibilities and businesses. The partnership demonstrates our UnitedHealth Group values in action - Integrity, Compassion, Inclusion, Relationships, Innovation and Performance.​​​​​​​​ Learn more

This award recognizes individual licensed clinicians, or a licensed clinician who has partnered with another clinician or UHG employee, that have demonstrated a commitment to our shared Quality belief of striving for excellence in everything that we do to achieve our goal of eliminating harm and achieving optimal clinical quality outcomes. Learn more
