Our responsible approach

While we recognize this technology provides us with significant opportunities, it must also be explainable, applied responsibly, and developed using deep technical expertise and ethical frameworks. Through our Responsible AI program, including our AI Review Board and United AI Studio, our proprietary secure AI platform, we identify and address potential risks and opportunities across our applications. These efforts prioritize data privacy and human control and ensure our practices are consistent with applicable laws, regulations and policy requirements.

AI Review Board

A multidisciplinary review board consisting of clinicians, data scientists, business leaders, privacy and security experts, and ethicists reviews AI models to ensure safety, accuracy and fairness.

We have created a platform to ensure our AI experts are using best practices throughout every stage of building, deploying and managing AI applications. This leads to more uniform performance and reliability, as well as improved security, data privacy and fairness.
