UnitedHealth Group has led efforts to identify, monitor and address health disparities – in collaboration with community organizations and national partners – to advance health equity for more than two decades. While measurable progress has been made, much more is needed to eliminate health disparities and achieve health equity.

During a recent virtual policy briefing hosted by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Dr. Rhonda Randall, chief medical officer for UnitedHealthcare Employer and Individual, discussed how UnitedHealth Group is taking action to help meet those needs.
