What does a day in your life look like at work?

“Calls, lots of calls to members! I make daily calls to our members to assess for any barriers to care and health concerns. My ultimate job as their nurse case manager is to help close any health gaps that they may have, and to improve their health outcomes.”

What is the best part of your job?

“Educating and empowering members to improve their health, gives me great satisfaction!”

How do you incorporate Quality and Patient Safety into your work?

“Listening to member health concerns, showing compassion, and reflecting on evidence-based practice to educate them.”

What words would you say to a nurse after a challenging day?

“Whether it is a good day or a bad day, I hope it helps to know that you are appreciated.”
