Children’s Foundation Receives $17.5 Million Gift from UnitedHealthcare
Children’s Foundation received a $17.5 million gift from UnitedHealthcare to enhance care for children throughout the Upper Midwest. The gift will support the creation of a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center at Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus. It also will fund a significant part of the newly expanded “UnitedHealthcare Pediatric Emergency Department at Children’s” in Minneapolis. Watch video.


UnitedHealth HEROES in Action
UnitedHealth HEROES is a service-learning, health literacy initiative developed by UnitedHealth Group and Youth Service America. The program awards grants of up to $1,000 to help young people create and implement local, hands-on programs to fight childhood obesity. Each grant also engages participating youth in service-learning, a strategy that supports student learning, academic achievement and workplace readiness. See UnitedHealth HEROES in action.


Giving a Buffalo Family a Place to Call Home
Many UnitedHealth Group employees from around the country have supported Habitat for Humanity, including a group of 35 volunteers in Buffalo, N.Y. While some of the UnitedHealth Group volunteers worked to renovate a ReStore site, others helped refurbish a home for a family with special health needs. Watch our volunteers in action.
