Our Foundations: Supporting community and children’s health.
The good work of UnitedHealth Group and its employees is augmented by our two foundations.
The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation helps children who have medical needs that are not covered due to gaps in their commercial health benefit plan. This foundation gives their family somewhere to turn for help. It is funded through contributions from UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare, employees, and the generosity of other individuals and corporations.

The United Health Foundation was established by UnitedHealth Group in 1999, and is dedicated to improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of medical outcomes, expanding access to health care services for those in challenging circumstances, and enhancing the well-being of communities.
